Microvascular surgery is required to reconstruct large soft tissue wounds in one stage that would otherwise have needed many months of dressings. This is often practiced in conjunction with Orthopaedic wounds.
Dr Kamran is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hand and microsurgery. He has fellowships from the Queen Mary Hospital and Duchess of Kent Hospital, Hong Kong University. He has also trained at the International College of Surgeons, US. At the University of Istanbul’s Ćapa Hospital, he undertook a fellowship in the Ilizarov & Extremity Reconstruction techniques. He has a fellowship in shoulder surgery from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Freiburg, Germany
