General Surgery Residency

The General Surgery Residency Program at South City Hospital, Karachi offers comprehensive postgraduate training in both elective and emergency surgical care. Residents gain hands-on experience across a wide range of procedures including gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, breast, thyroid, colorectal, hernia, trauma, and advanced laparoscopic surgeries. The program provides residents with hands-on experience across a full range of imaging modalities including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, mammography, and interventional radiology, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a robust academic curriculum accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP).
