Our SICU is state of the art, the sophisticated unit having eight-bed space located on the 2nd Floor and is equipped with Advanced Life Support equipment. It has the provision for Hemodialysis and Intra-Aortic Balloon pumps.

• Each bed has life support devices such ventilator, invasive and non-invasive multi-parameter monitor, and BIPAP.
• Intra-aortic Balloon pump: one of the most advanced devices to support Failed or weak heart
• Portable ventilators
• Hemodialysis
• Annexed with Main Operation Theatre to facilitate the management of some of the most complex and critical surgical cases.
• Round-the-clock senior Anesthetists present to ensure absolute safety and accessibility and ensure the confidence of the patient’s family just as in any other unit of Critical Care.
• The unit manages cases such as sleeve Gastrectomy, Whipples Procedure, Cardiac surgeries adult and pediatric; Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Thoracic surgery, Orthopedic surgery, spinal surgery, Complex Vascular Surgery, Urology cases, Gynecology and Obstetrics Complex cases, Trauma cases, and this unit is the 2nd unit in Pakistan to manage successfully DBS cases but the only unit having zero mortality.
