Radiology

The Radiology department at South City Hospital offers is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide a full range of services from diagnostic imaging to interventional procedures that cater to the needs of in-patients, out-patients, and referrals.

We use state-of-the-art imaging. Radiologists and radiographers aim to provide effective, efficient services professionally to patients. Support staff help the patient get the earliest appointment possible and are present to assist throughout.

We are certified by the Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA). The PNRA regularly audits and inspects us for radiation safety.

Our facilities include:

  • General Radiography (X-Ray)
  • Special Radiography (Fluoroscopy)
  • Mammography
  • Ultrasound / Color Doppler
  • CT Scan (GE Brivo 16-slice)
  • Open MRI (0.35 Tesla)
  • Interventional Radiology

All general X-rays, mammography, and fluoroscopic procedures are carried out on a Computed Radiography System (CR) which has minimized the patient waiting time and radiation dose.

All IV iodinated contrast examinations are done after confirmation of serum creatinine levels and by using “Iso-osmolar Contrast Agents” in line with international recommendations for higher patient safety.

We are constantly working to improve and expand our services by investing in the most advanced equipment and technologies so we can deliver outstanding imaging services and reduce the time from diagnosis to treatment.
