Dr. Anjum Naveed
Dr. Anjum Naveed is a well renowned ENT surgeon with over 40 years of experience in this field. Of surgery After graduating from Dow Medical College, he completed his postgraduate training in the UK where he did his fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. Dr. Naveed subsequently moved to the Emirates and further enhanced his training in airway surgery at Tawam hospital in affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine.
After returning to Pakistan, he established the ENT department at The Indus hospital Karachi where he served as the department head for 10 year, with a focus in ear surgery. He also started the first time in Pakistan Newborn Hearing Screening program which will be stated soon in South city hospital
His special interests include Ear surgery, air way surgery. He specializes in Myringoplasties, Tympanoplasties, Mastoidectomy Trans canal Endoscopic Ear Surgery (TEEC).He is also well experienced in managing routine ENT problems like tonsils adenoids nasal septal deviation. He is expert in doing various head and neck procedures including removal of lumps managing thyroid and parotid swellings both in children and adults.
