Dr. Imran Iftikhar

Dr. Imran Iftikhar was trained in the best centers of Pakistan. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at Shifa International Hospital and his residency in Adult Cardiologist at Aga Khan University Hospital. After attaining a fellowship in Adult Cardiology, he did his Interventional Cardiology training at The Indus Hospital. Dr. Iftikhar has been working as an Assistant Professor and consultant Interventional Cardiologist at the Indus Hospital , where he also heads the Non-Invasive Cardiology section.

Dr. Imran Iftikhar joined The Kidney Centre as visiting Consultant Cardiologist and has been working there since 2013 and specialized in managing Kidney patients with Coronary artery diseases.

Dr. Imran Iftikhar has a keen interest in providing resuscitation training to physicians and nurses and has been leading these training session for the last 10 years throughout Pakistan. He is a certified American Heart Association Instructor and also Heads The Emergency Response Committee at The Indus Hospital.

Dr. Imran Iftikhar is a blend of Interventional and non-interventional cardiology with expertise in Stress Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography , Pacemaker insertions and Periutaneous interventions.
