Dr. Mazhar Ali Memon
Dr. Mazhar Ali is an accomplished Consultant Urologist with extensive national and international experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of urological disorders. He is currently serving as Consultant Urologist at Indus Hospital & Health Network, Karachi, and is now also available for consultations and surgical care at South City Hospital.
He completed his fellowship in Uro-Oncology at the renowned Urology and Nephrology Centre in Mansoura, Egypt, and received advanced laparoscopic training from Ankara, Turkey. In addition to his surgical expertise, Dr. Mazhar is certified in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (CQIPS) and Clinical Operations Management (CPCOM), underscoring his commitment to providing safe, efficient, and evidence-based clinical care.
His areas of expertise include:
- Endoscopic procedures: percutaneous nephrolithotomy, retrograde intrarenal surgery, transurethral resection of prostate, ureteroscopy, bladder tumor resection
- Laparoscopic surgeries: Simple and radical nephrectomy, pyeloplasty, VVF repair, renal cyst de-roofing
- Oncological surgeries: Radical cystectomy with ileal conduit, radical nephrectomy, nephroureterectomy, radical orchiectomy, and RPLND
