Dr. Mughis Sheerani

Mughis Sheerani MBBS, DABPN graduated from Dow Medical college. He did his residency from University of Utah where he did Neurology and Neurorehabilitation training. He did his fellowship from Medical University of South Carolina in Clinical Neurophysiology and Paediatric Epilepsy Surgery. He served as Assistant Professor of Neurology and Program Director of Rehabilitation at Texas Tech University USA.  

After moving to Pakistan, he developed Epilepsy Surgery and Neurorehabilitation programs at the Aga Khan University.  On the academic side, he was selected as Associate Dean where he started several new post graduate programs and published several research articles both in the field of neurology and medical education. He is also serves as examiner for Adult and Pediatric Neurology at CPSP.

He established Neurology Department at SIUT that is now one of the largest center for treatment of demyelinating diseases in the country. He works as a Consultant Neurologist at South City Hospital. He also supervises a Neurorehabilitation program in the city.
