Prof. Dr. Samina Ghaznavi

A Gold medalist and Best graduate of SMC with distinctions in Medicine and Surgery. She has more than 25 years of experience as a specialist in Medicine and Rheumatology, having a Fellowship in Medicine and Specialist training in Rheumatology from Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust UK. She is the current President of Pakistan Society for rheumatology, and member from Pakistan in the Asia Pacific region for Osteoarthritis.

In Medicine, she has expertise in treating Hypertension, Diabetes, Liver, Gastrointestinal, Thyroid, and Metabolic disorders, Infections, Asthma, and Allergies.

In Rheumatology, she specializes in treating all kinds of Arthritis, however areas of special interest  are, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Gout, Lupus, Neck, Shoulder and Back pain.

She also has an expertise in soft tissue and trigger point injection, and also intra articular injections for diagnostic aspiration, treatment as well as Viscosupplementation.
