Dr. Zafar Mahmood
Professor Dr. Zafar Mahmood is a highly skilled and internationally trained ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon with over 22 years of experience in the field. Recognized as the youngest Professor of ENT in Pakistan, he has earned a reputation for excellence in both clinical practice and academic contribution.
His expertise encompasses a wide range of ENT and head & neck conditions, including thyroid and salivary gland diseases, head and neck cancers, nasal polyps, and complex sinus disorders. He received specialized training in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery under the mentorship of the legendary Prof. Stammberger, followed by a short fellowship in Munich, Germany. Additionally, he completed a short fellowship in Endoscopic Ear Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow.
Beyond his clinical excellence, Dr. Zafar Mahmood is a respected academic and researcher. He is the author of 19 original research articles published in reputable international journals and currently serves as the Managing Editor of the Pakistan Journal of Otolaryngology.
