Dr. Izza Hussain has acquired her training from the best centers of Pakistan. She did her residency in Hematology from the Aga Khan University Hospital. More recently, she was associated with Indus Hospital where she worked as an Assistant Professor & Consultant Hematology. Her role at the hospital entailed a continuous involvement in medical education and the transfusion committee. Furthermore, Dr. Izza has also worked in Fatimid Foundation as visiting Consultant Hematologist for a year.

She deals with Pancytopenia/Cytopenias, Anemia, Bleeding disorders, Thrombosis, monitoring of anti-coagulation therapy, ITP, Hemophilia, Thalassemia, Hemoglobinopathies, BM failure disorders, Hematological malignancies and with patients requiring Bone Marrow Biopsies for diagnostic purpose.

All in all, Dr. Izza Hussain deals with diagnostic and clinical Hematology and retains a special interest in treating CML & ITP.
