Dr. Syed Rehan Ali Consultant Neonatologist is the Clinical Lead Consultant of Neonatology at South City Hospital and heads NICU as well.

Dr. Rehan after his basic Medical qualification in 1993 started following his passion in Neonatology and from 1999 to 2012 respectively successfully received DCH (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Ireland), MRCP (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Ireland), CSD / CCST ( Medical Council Ireland), FRCP ( Royal College of Physicians of Glasgow, Division of Paediatrics),  Dip ( AKUH Pk), FRCPCH ( Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, London, England) through sheer dedication and his passion to care and treat neonates and children.

Dr. Rehan is reputed in the management of high-risk infants born before 30 weeks gestation, less than 1000gms, and birth weight less than 3^rd percentile or neurological concerns.

Dr. Rehan supervises as well his dedicated team members and has training in fellowship in neonatology and round a clock on-call system ensures the supervised delivery of neonates.  Neonatology Consultants and the highly trained/ qualified neonatology Team can manage emergencies including management of respiratory support with ventilators or respiratory assist devices, securing central catheters, closed chest thoracotomy for pneumothorax, U.C. Placement, and emergency pharmacotherapy.
