Dr. Rukhsana Mughal is a senior obstetrician and gynecologist who also specializes in IVF. She is a graduate of Dow Medical College and went for postgraduate training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. After 10 years in the US, she returned to Pakistan in 1986 and began working as an instructor and part-time consultant at Aga Khan University Hospital. She continues working there today.

She has been associated with South City Hospital since 2007 under its new management.

Dr. Rukhsana specializes in treating high-risk pregnancies and the entire range of obstetrics and gynecology offered at SCH. She is known for developing a relationship with her patients that sets them at ease and one of her strengths is the lengths to which she goes to ensure a patient fully understands the details of the treatment.
