Nursery

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is located on the 1st Floor. The NICU sits next to the Well Baby Nursery and is staffed round the clock by neonatal care trained nurses and RMOs with experience in Paediatrics.

Our NICU has four incubators and two neonatal/pediatric ventilators, three pulse oximeters, two NIBP devices, 12 phototherapy units, central oxygen and suction systems and emergency medicines. Neonatal Echocardiography is available too. Five pediatricians, two neonatologists and an anesthetist cover the unit round the clock.

The unit handles neonatal emergencies and offers Pediatric Advance Life Support. This is backed up with immediately available portable radiology diagnostics, ABGs, and laboratory and pharmacy support.
