Hand & Microvascular Surgery

The hand can develop problems due to birth defects, infection, or accidents. Hand surgery is a relatively new specialty aimed to restore the function of the limb. South City Hospital Orthopaedics Associates has two surgeons with extensive skills in hand surgery.

Microvascular surgery is required to reconstruct large soft tissue wounds in one stage that would otherwise have needed many months of dressings. This is often practiced in conjunction with Orthopaedic wounds.
