Mr. Mohamed H. Zakaria took over as CEO & Managing Director of Saudi Steel Profile Co in 2007. He succeeded ex-partners who held management since Saudi Steel’s inception in 1994.

He was also the Senior Vice President of the Ahmed Salem Bugshan Group.

Prior to his assumption of the post of CEO & Managing Director of Saudi Steel, Mr. Zakaria was the Senior Advisor of Investments at ASB Group (Ahmed Salem Bugshan Group).

His previous positions included:

• Senior Vice President – Ahmed Salem Bugshan Group,– CEO & Managing Director – Saudi Steel Profile Co,– Chairman – United Co for Industrial Metals (Yemen),– Director – Structured Financing – Sipco (Pepsi Cola Bugshan),

Currently, he is:-

• Founding Shareholder and Board Member – SIMA Funds USA (Social Investment Managers & Advisors LLC).
• Founding Shareholder and Board Member – Asaan Ghar Financing Company.
• Director and Board Member of South City Hospital.
• Director and Board Member of South City Education Hub.
• Former Founding Shareholder and Board Member – Taleem Finance Company.

Mr. Zakaria has 48 years of financial and industrial experience. He has been in the MENA region for 48 years in various senior management positions. His business experience covers trading, structured financing, industries, corporate finance, real estate, and global asset (bonds & equities) management.

Mr. Zakaria has worked extensively on a variety of projects, both exclusively at GUI and ASB Group and also in partnership with multilateral organizations and Government bodies. He has prepared innumerable reports, feasibility reports, surveys, and recommendations covering a variety of subjects including corporate governance; competitiveness capacity building. He has been extensively interviewed by leading newspapers and has written countless articles.
