Prof. Shahin Haye – FRC Psych (The Royal College Psychiatrists – London), MRC Psych (The Royal College Psychiatrists – London), MDCH (Medical Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis – London), Diploma in Psychological Medicine (Royal College of Physicians of London), MBBS Consultant Psychiatrist & Hypnotherapist has extensive experience in all the aspects of Clinical Psychiatry in reputed health care institutions in Pakistan and abroad.

Trained in UK St. Mary’s and St. Thomas’ Teaching Hospitals. Have worked as Consultant Psychiatrist in UK’s Teaching hospitals for many years including St. Thomas’ and Central Middlesex teaching hospitals. Was Head of Psychiatry Department at The Agha Khan University Hospital for seven years. Planned Outpatients and inpatients facilities and tanning programmes for both medical students and residents. Founder & Clinical director of Markaz-E-Nafsiyat (Institution of psychiatry).

Has teaching experience of many years for both under and postgraduates . Had been an examiner for FCPS in psychiatry. Has written several books and articles to create awareness of psychiatry Her books’ titles are Nadia , Zooba , Badaltay Mausam , Dashte Naubahar, Armana aur Armeen. She has vast experience in every aspect of psychiatry including Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Sleep disorders, Child psychiatry, Psychogeriatrics , Eating Disorders, Drug dependence, Family therapy, Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy. Has attended and presented several papers in international conferences. She is a very dynamic person and attends conferences of American Psychiatric Association, Royal College of Psychiatrist and World Psychiatric Association on regular basis to keep herself updated.
