Prof. Dr Azam Jah Samdani did his Ph.D. in Dermatology from U. K in 1992, Diploma in Dermatology (D. D. S) from U. K in 1986. The 1st Pakistani to attain PhD in Dermatology. He later did fellowship training in Boston, U.S.A. Dr Samdani then got posted as Consultant and Head of Dermatology Makkah health care service with the Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia from April 1992 – February 2006.
He is member of British & American Society of Dermatology. Pakistan & Saudi Association of Dermatology. Member of Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office of World Health Organization (EMRO) WHO and member Marquis Who’s Who, U.S.A. He was visiting faculty at (KIBGE) Dr A Q Khan Institute of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering and also Panjwani Centre for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research and (HEJ), International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences K.U. He has many national and international publications to his credit.
